Vocalist and guitar player

I’m Mariangel Murillo, an Ecuadorian singer, vocal coach, and multi-instrumentalist with a deep passion for using music to connect, inspire, and build community. My journey as an artist has taken me across Ecuador, Argentina, and the United States, where I’ve had the opportunity to perform on diverse stages and collaborate with incredible artists like Servando y Florentino and the Latin Vox Machine Orchestra.
I studied music with a specialization in vocal performance at the Institute of TAMABA in Argentina, where I deepened my technique, musical knowledge, and artistic vision. I’m also trained in classical piano and certified in Speech Level Singing, which allows me to bring a well-rounded, technical, and expressive approach to both performance and teaching. Whether I’m singing Latin or pop music, recording new arrangements, or guiding a student through their vocal development, my goal is always to create music that’s honest, powerful, and meaningful.
Over the years, I’ve also taught music in different settings from free in-person community classes in Argentina to virtual lessons during the pandemic. These experiences reinforced my belief that music can heal, empower, and give people a voice especially in communities that have been historically underrepresented or underserved.
Now based in Cuyahoga County, I’m working to create a music studio that reflects everything I love about this art form: creativity, education, culture, and collaboration. Through this space, I hope to continue growing as an artist and give others the opportunity to discover and share their own musical voices.
