Overview
Based on my successful individual and team athletic accomplishments since little league football through college I have learned valuable lessons on what it takes not only to succeed but to excel beyond my imagination. My athletic success was based on a mindset that I have successfully used in life and business. I believe I can educate others how to be empowered to live successful, happy and productive lives.
As in sports life can quickly change for better or worse. How we deal with those changes determines whether we succeed or fail. What we call luck, what we call chance is what happens when preparation meets opportunity! As philosopher Epictetus wrote long ago: “It’s not what happens to you, but how you react to it that matters.” Jason Garret, head coach of the Dallas Cowboy’s, recently was quoted as saying he tells his players simply to “show up every day and do your job”. That’s ultimately what you’re asking them to do: be your best, not try your best.”
What I offer to corporations, organizations, athletic teams and educational facilities is advice and philosophies for leadership/success, motivation, sales practices and health/fitness. I believe the keys to success are:
