I have hired Karen a couple times to perform at different events and she always comes prepared and ready to play. She is musical and an effective leader when I need someone to take care of a small ensemble. Will for sure hire her again!

About
Hi, I'm Karen! I've been playing violin since age 5 when I saw a commercial that had a violinist in it and I told my parents, "I want to do that!"
I love playing classical music and am teaching myself some Irish fiddle tunes for fun. I also enjoy playing pop music with other musicians and love collaborating. Additionally I grew up playing violin in church so I can fit in well with a worship team or play classical hymns. I'm originally from Las Vegas and have a bachelor's degree in violin performance and string pedagogy from the University of New Mexico and now live in Houston. I also love singing in choirs, rock climbing, and hiking.
