Two incredible singers backed by the grooviest rhythm section in town, all complimented by a fiery four-piece horn section.... Vinyl 73 has the retro and future sounds you need at your next event all in one package!
If you are planning a two-phase event with something like a small jazz combo for the dinner hour followed by a set from the big group once the "party" really starts, we can do that as well!

Vinyl 73 is a one stop shop for your event's musical entertainment needs! At our core we are a high-energy, hard grooving 10-piece funk/soul band specializing in those 1970s summer sounds of fantastic classic artists such as Earth, Wind & Fire, Stevie Wonder, Chicago, Kool and the Gang, Tower of Power, Steely Dan and more. Our ever-growing repertoire also includes music from popular artists from the 80's to present day including Phil Collins, Dua Lipa, Elton John, Bruno Mars, Michael Buble', The Cars, Miley Cyrus and many others. Vinyl 73 features two of the most powerful, charismatic voices in the Salt Lake valley backed by a slapping rhythm section and a blazing horn section. We liven up any party or event by providing a joyful, contagious vibe that will get the audience on their feet and moving!
In addition to our core group described above, Vinyl 73 can also provide a smaller jazz combo to help with a quieter segment of your event. Classic jazz standards performed by the most swinging cats in the land while your guests dine, mingle, or enjoy cocktail hour.

Vinyl 73 was formed in 2023 as a group of highly skilled, studio quality musicians with the goal of livening up the Salt Lake music scene with the summery, fun, high energy sounds of 1970s era horn bands.
