If I am playing background or ceremony music for an event, I will consult my client and select music that is appropriate to the setting. If I am hired as an accompanist, I will spend the necessary time on my own learning the music. The number of rehearsals I am can arrange with the performer depends on the event and the difficulty of the music. I will travel to the performer for a rehearsal twice at no extra cost, but beyond that will be negotiated on a case by case basis.
I have Master's and Bachelor's degrees in piano performance from California Baptist University, and have been playing since 1998. In that time, I have performed solo recitals, and have accompanied church services,weddings, musical theatre productions, instrumental and vocal recitals, orchestras, small vocal ensembles, and large choirs.
