Tori Parrish, the Luxury Harpist, is an exceptional professional musician based out of Asheville, NC. Folkmoot USA was thrilled with Tori’s gratis performance of enchanting Italian melodies at our Summer Soireé, an international affair that celebrated diverse cultural cuisines and music from around the globe. The evening was transformed as her grand orchestral harp resonated with exquisite tones that captivated our patrons. Tori’s presence added a touch of sophistication and elegance to the evening. I knew I really wanted harp music to accompany my wedding ceremony, and as I searched for a harpist, I listened to sample pieces by a few different musicians. Tori’s style was exactly what I was looking for - the beautiful, lilting, classic sound you hear in your head when you think of harp music. I contacted her and we were immediately able to connect to talk about a date, possible music selections, and the booking process. Tori’s communication was thorough yet simple, so even though I didn’t have a wedding planner, I easily understood what I needed to do and when, what I was getting, and how things would work leading up to and including the day of the event.

I ended up being a lot more selective on music choices than I thought I would be, and Tori was happy to accommodate all of my requests! Her repertoire is extensive. She even arranged a custom piece for us that was a very special, personal addition to our wedding day.

Everything was picture perfect on the day of our outdoor ceremony. All of our guests were super impressed by the live harp music. They said it was so lovely, I wish I had been able to sit and enjoy the prelude with them! In addition to providing the perfect sound, both Tori and the harp were a visually stunning addition to our ceremony. Book her - you and your guests will be in for a treat!

Tori’s presence at our wedding celebration made our day incredibly special and relaxing! Having Tori playing the harp during the prelude and ceremony was a treat - we could hear the harp music as we finished getting ready! Even our guests on zoom heard the music and couldn't stop talking about how beautiful it was. The whole process of working with Tori was streamlined, professional and effortless! They communicated promptly and provided comprehensive details well in advance of the day to ensure everything was coordinated. Tori also made the process of choosing music so easy. Other than our song for walking down the aisle, we didn’t have strong preferences. Tori got to know our personalities and preferences and made music choices for us that fit the mood of our gathering and ceremony perfectly! We heard some samples of the music during our planning session and were already touched and tearing up. Working with Tori was truly one of the least stressful parts of planning the wedding and we never had to worry about music in the ceremony. We also cried when they sent us the special recording of their arrangement of Ben Platt’s “So Will I” that we loved for walking down the aisle. It was so special to have personalized and unique music arranged for our day, and a commemorative recording we can listen to forever. We cannot recommend Tori highly enough! Thank you so much Tori!!
