Our vendors and patrons loved that he was able to play great tunes while walking around our venue without being tethered to his new speaker, no cords, just over his wi-fi connection. December 22, 2019Victor Tarassov played for our annual departmental holiday luncheon, which had two parts: a wine and cheese reception followed by a sit down lunch. During the reception, together with his latin/gypsy/flamenco style guitar playing, he happily accompanied group singing of holiday carols. During the lunch his playing set a festive and playful mood. Since his talents were needed in two distinctly different spaces, he brought along two setups to make the transition from space to space simple and straightforward. He arrived early to setup and sound check. Victor is a consummate professional and delightfully talented performer. Highly recommended. Thank you, Victor!

Victor's musical inspirations are drawn from Spanish flamenco guitar masters like Paco de Lucia, Vicente Amigo, Ottmar Liebert, Gypsy Kings and great Latin Cuban and Puerto Rican orchestras. He has been performing for several years as a acoustic guitar soloist in the Tri State area, and now even further out of state. One of the things that He loves to do is “Just Play” a few years ago he was at a Ottmar Liebert solo concert on April, 23 2006 Redwood City CA. Ottmar was taking questions and he asked him about song writing and how to come up with ideas, he said “turn off the editor and just play”. That answer has stayed with Victor. One of the things that I do now or try to do in life is “Just Play” weather I am working on a pice of music or preforming it, or when I am working with people I just share from deep within what is in my heart. There is something very vulnerable and beautiful about our lives when we just play. Its like a child when they create a pice of art for there parents the just play.
