Vinny Silva's project Vicious Clay was created as the ultimate outlet to express an adventurer’s spirit and life stories, using the language of raw, indie rock n’ roll.
The band’s songs consistently navigate themes of personal struggle, perseverance, and the quest for meaning and self-identity. They often juxtapose moments of doubt and difficulty with a resilient drive to overcome and find purpose. The narrative voice often grapples with internal conflicts while expressing a defiant determination to carve out a unique path.
Vinny’s first venture with his band Vicious Clay started in 2018, at These Outer Spaces Studio in 2018. The one-man band’s self-titled debut EP was released in April 2020. Shortly after, he found himself writing what would become Bleecker St Revisited, the band’s first full album, recorded in the legendary Studio G (Brooklyn), to be released in 2025. Band Lineup: Vocals/Lead Guitar, Vocals/Rhythm Guitar, Vocals/Bass and Drums. Everyone in the band is a singer and experienced performer!
3 Vocal Mics, 2 Guitar Amps (can be provided), Bass Amp/DI (can be provided), 5-piece Drum kit (can be provided), all depending on backline.
