December 26, 2024Victorian Christmas
I’ve had the team from VMDC a few times to our home for Christmas Eve celebrations, and my family always loves it. They do a nice mix of songs and add a very festive air to the event. Easy to communicate with and punctual. Would definitely hire again.

What to expect
The Very Merry Dickens Carolers doesn't just sing the music - we perform it and we encourage audience participation where it is welcome.
We provide a variety of performances. We can be background music during a cocktail hour or event as well as the featured entertainment for a meeting or party.
As featured entertainment, we engage the audience and invite them to sing with us if they'd like to. We firmly believe that Christmas music should be sung and enjoyed by all.
About
We love Christmas Music and want to share it with everyone!
The Very Merry Dickens Carolers (VMDC) is excited to continue entertaining a wide variety of people from New Hampshire to New York. The group was formed in 2005, and since 2022, VMDC has been under the direction of David and Erin Moniz, who joined the company in 2014 as carolers.
VMDC sings in 4-part a cappella harmony (SATB). A majority of the arrangements in our repertoire were created specifically for our group and are copyrighted. In all, our repertoire contains about 50 secular and non-secular songs in a variety of styles including traditional, doo wop, swing, and jazz.
Additional booking notes
We do not typically use microphones or sound equipment. If your venue is very spacious, or is expected to be very loud, microphones will be needed. We do not provide this equipment.
We recommend you provide 4 microphones that can be places close together so the singers can hear each other. The beauty of a cappella harmony is the blend and being near other is essential for a great blend.
