Veerle Winkelmolen (1997) is a young pianist and singer from The Netherlands. She has been praised for her honesty in music and diversity of sound, as well as for her virtuosic outbursts.

As a soloist she is interested in the whole spectrum of the piano repertoire, from Baroque composers to the contemporary styles of Saariaho and Kapustin. Together with her piano trio ‘Pella Collective’ she explores works of composers who are currently active in the field, such as JacobTV and Missy Mazzoli.

Performances have taken her to the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, TivoliVredenburg, and multiple theaters in the Netherlands. Additionally, she has performed in Italy, the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, and the United States. Her love of singing and songwriting have led her to the stage of TedX events, international festivals such as Bochum Total, and pop-music venues like the Melkweg in Amsterdam.

Veerle is currently enrolled in the Master of Performance Program at the University of South Florida with Svetozar Ivanov as well as at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht with Henry Kelder. She has participated in masterclasses with musicians such as Eldar Nebolsin, Enrico Pace and John O’Conor. In 2022 she won the USF Concerto Competition with Alfred Schnittke's Concerto for piano and strings. In 2019 she graduated from the Utrecht Conservatory with the Highest Distinction and won the Emir Steyerberg Prize for the best Bachelor Exam of the year. In 2014 she won the first prize at the Kunstbende, a music and art competition in The Netherlands.
