Vanessa Carr is a dynamic performer whose classic style transcends time and enchants audiences everywhere. Her versatility sparks joy and smiles in the young and old. Vanessa was raised on standards, broadway show tunes, and classic rock. Her influences include the legendary Barbra Streisand, Celine Dion, Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble, Linda Eder, Bernadette Peters, Lady Gaga, STYX, and the Eagles. Vanessa is unique and noted for her storytelling, emotional interpretation, humor, and dancing that charms audiences everywhere. Her tenderness, multifaceted range, and "Joie de V" make her a timeless class act.
Among her many performances, Vanessa was a member of the Detroit Pistons House Band, as well as with other accomplished and rising metro Detroit bands- just recently opening for The Jacksons at Detroit Music Weekend. Specializing in singing the National Anthem, Vanessa has sung at Detroit Lions and Tigers games, as well as on the Frank Beckmann show on the 200th Anniversary. She also stars as Lola in a Barry Manilow tribute show. Vanessa is a member of the 2018 Virtual Choir 5 and released her first Christmas album in winter 2016 entitled Glisten.
