Our performances feature a mix of alternative rock, classic rock, grunge, and crowd favorites, delivered with the enthusiasm and musicianship that have become our trademark. While we're proud to be one of the youngest bands on the scene, we let our performance do the talking.

Whether we're playing a festival, community event, private party, or live music venue, our goal is simple: put on a show your guests will remember and make your event a success.

Made up of three young, Houston musicians with talent far beyond their years, Vacant Wire brings the kind of stage presence that turns first-time listeners into fans. Covering everything from Nirvana and The Offspring to Led Zeppelin, Godsmack, The Stooges and more, they deliver the energy of '90s alternative and classic rock with a style that's completely their own.

What makes their story even more impressive is how they got here. Unlike many youth bands, Vacant Wire wasn't formed through a music school or performance program. They built this the old fashioned way - from the ground up - finding each other organically, putting in the hours, and a rehearsing relentlessly. Hard work and undeniable talent has earned them opportunities such as a headlining gig at Dan Electro's Metal Mondays and an opening spot at White Oak Music Hall's HTX Rising Series - an impressive accomplishment for such a young group of musicians

**TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS**

Vacant Wire is a three-piece rock band featuring guitar, bass, drums, and vocals. We are equipped to perform in a wide variety of venues and can provide a substantial PA and sound system when needed, or work with an established house production setup.

**WHAT WE CAN PROVIDE**

Vacant Wire can provide, as needed:

• PA system and digital mixer
• Vocal microphones
• Ribbon microphones
• Microphone stands
• Full acoustic drum kit with cymbals
• Full drum microphone package, including overheads
• Guitar amplifier
• Bass amplifier
• Guitar/bass pedalboards
• In-ear monitoring system
• Stage lighting
• Instrument and microphone cables
• Personal instruments and performance gear

For events without an established house sound system, please let us know in advance if PA, sound reinforcement, or stage lighting will be needed so we can plan the appropriate setup.

**HOUSE PA / PRODUCTION**

We are happy to use a venue's house PA and production equipment when available.

If house sound is being used, we request that the venue provide an experienced in-house sound engineer who is familiar with the system and available for soundcheck and throughout the performance.

We are happy to coordinate with the house engineer prior to the event regarding inputs, stage layout, monitoring, and other production needs.

**MONITORING**

The band is equipped with in-ear monitors and can provide our own IEM equipment as needed. Please let us know what monitoring and routing capabilities are available through the house system so we can coordinate the best setup in advance.

**STAGE / POWER**

• Adequate performance space for a three-piece rock band and full acoustic drum kit
• Safe, grounded electrical power accessible from the performance area
• For outdoor performances, a stable, level performance area with adequate protection for performers and electrical equipment from rain and other weather conditions

**SETUP & SOUNDCHECK**

Load-in and setup requirements vary depending on whether Vacant Wire is providing production or using the venue's house system.

When using house production, we request adequate time for setup, line check, monitor setup, and soundcheck prior to the performance.

When providing our own PA, lighting, and/or production equipment, additional load-in and setup time may be required. We will coordinate these requirements with the event organizer in advance.

**PRODUCTION COORDINATION**

Every venue and event is a little different, and we're happy to adapt our setup accordingly. Please provide information regarding available PA, mixer, microphones, monitoring, stage dimensions, electrical access, and house production personnel prior to the event.

For larger events, festivals, or venues with established production, we can also provide a stage plot and input list upon request.
