Until ...

When Until performs, it's refreshing; she provides a great feel, and no matter the poem, she's strong, soft and conveying. Her words grab you no matter the subject. She has fan favorites such as Dreams "Are meant to be Lived" part II, Gotta' Go-Gotta' Leave, Until No More, and few more.

Until is best known for her honesty and realism. Her storytelling ability and creativeness.

Quanda R. Graves better known by her pseudonym, Until, is a California native.

Until is an Author, Poet, Radio Personality and a Journalist/Literary Columnist (to say the least) for the California Crusader Newspaper in conjunction with E.I.N and Until TV. Until began her poetry career in the year of 1991, poetry slams, poetry performances, and anthology features. She had built quite the momentum, gaining a rising name in the poetry world in and around the Los Angeles area when she received her big break in 1998; someone saw her featured work in a book and asked her to be the "Poet of the Night" for Black History Month for the (Black Ice Edition) at Indiana University. Until received three (3) standing ovations and an encore. What a high!

However, soon after, her boyfriend, now husband became very ill and it nearly took over ten years before she would return to the world of poetry to achieve her "Poetry and Literary" missions. In the year of 2008 she resurfaced and never looked back. She became the Youth Director for the Los Angeles Black Book Expo which ended in September 2014, and in the same year she became a published author of her very first poetry edition entitled "I Just Want to Write!". She has just recently finished up her Poetry Residence in Fullerton, Ca at the Max Blooms Cafe early 2016.

Until performed at the Yost Theater in Santa Ana, Ca, as "Poet of the Night" in December 2015 premiering part of a two parted poem called Dreams "Are meant to be Lived" part II. Until, graced the stage with Steve Lobel, Christine Devine, Bizzy Bone of Bone Thugs -n-Harmony, and many more. The poem instantly became a fan favorite and she received wonderful feedback. Until has performed at The Blue Beet in Newport Beach with Art of Jazz and Red Shift and Paula Gabriel. Until's most recent performance was at an event called "We Want to Hear Your Voice" for a music networking mixer in Santa, Ana. The pieces requested (fan favorites) were Dreams "Are meant to be lived" pt. II, Gotta' Go-Gotta' Leave (inspired by Vivian Green) and How to Love.

In between time, poetry, performing and writing stays on her mind. So, she's either interviewing amazing people, writing articles and/or performing at your latest events; all while building her empire. In 2017 she will launch Quanda' Significance llc, introduces; The Simple Treasures Collection, Re-Launch Until TV and feature a couple of new books.
