Before your event :
We’ll learn about your vision, discuss your schedule, and identify the people, details, and moments you want captured. Your custom quote will outline your selected services, coverage hours, deliverables, and pricing, with delivery timing confirmed before you book.

During your event :
We bring a calm, collaborative presence so you can feel comfortable and enjoy the experience. We provide clear direction for portraits and group photos while staying attentive to candid interactions, meaningful details, and unexpected moments. We’ll coordinate with your planner, venue, and other vendors as needed to support the flow of your event.

Typical coverage :

For weddings, coverage may include getting ready, the ceremony, couple and family portraits, toasts, and reception celebrations.

For corporate events, coverage may include speakers, presentations, networking, team portraits, branding details, staged team & guest interviews and candid guest interactions.

For private celebrations, coverage may include guest arrivals, group portraits, speeches, milestone moments, and the atmosphere that makes your gathering special.

We’ll build your coverage plan around your priorities, schedule, and selected services.

Coverage tailored to you :
Choose photography, cinematic video or a combination. Depending on your booking, your finished work may include edited photographs, a highlight film, documentary edits, or a livestream that allows guests to join from afar.

👋 We’re Misty + Jay, the husband-and-wife team behind UnityREEL, based in Austin, Texas. We create photographs, cinematic films, and livestream experiences that help people celebrate, connect, and tell their stories.

Our story began with weddings...capturing the anticipation, laughter, happy tears, and small moments that become treasured memories. As UnityREEL grew, we brought that same care to corporate events, brand storytelling, family milestones, nonprofits, and community celebrations.

At the heart of our work is a simple goal: to preserve how a moment felt so you can return to it for years to come.

Misty brings an eye for photography, lighting, and the thoughtful guidance that helps people feel comfortable in front of the camera. Jay brings cinematic storytelling, sound, motion, and the technical direction behind our video and livestream productions. Together, we balance creative vision with careful planning and a personal approach.

We’ll coordinate technical details with you and your venue before the event. Requirements vary depending on whether you book photography, video, livestreaming, or an interactive guest experience.

Power and equipment space :
Please provide access to electrical outlets where powered equipment is needed, along with suitable space for cameras, lighting, and any booked portrait or video guestbook station. We’ll confirm placement with your venue to keep walkways clear.

Livestream connectivity :
Livestream services require a reliable internet connection. We’ll coordinate connection details and testing with your venue in advance to confirm suitability.

Audio and lighting :
For coverage involving speeches, vows, presentations, or performances, we’ll coordinate with your DJ, venue, or audiovisual team about sound access and microphone arrangements. Please let us know about any restrictions on lighting, flash, or equipment placement.

Setup and breakdown :
We’ll need venue access before coverage begins and time to pack down afterward. Exact timing depends on your selected services and will be confirmed during planning.

Venue logistics :
Please share parking and unloading instructions, access restrictions, and any plans to move between locations. For outdoor events, we’ll coordinate a weather backup plan for equipment and coverage.

Insurance :
UnityREEL carries general liability insurance through NEXT Insurance. A certificate of insurance is available upon request.
