Im a very passionate henna tattoo artist, and have been practicing over 10 years now. Im able do freestyle on any kind of design very beautifully, I can also create a design from any idea that you might come up with or also customize a design according to your interest. I have researched for years on henna products before I finally picked the materials I use, my Hannah is very safe on skins for both adults and children as its 100% percent natural and organic. I do not add any kind of chemical to intensify the results. Creating an Art on your body which would leave a smile and earn you compliment is what I thrive for.
I handle business very professionally, I'm trained, licensed and insured.

July 5, 2017My experience with Razia was just great. She was very professional and spent a lot of time working with me and my guests to provide exactly what we wanted. She was very friendly and made sure that the guests had ample information on how to maintain the henna after application. She even stayed over the time we had discussed to make sure the job was done right. I'm attaching a couple of pictures from my wedding day to show how the henna turned out. Thanks again for everything Razia!

June 30, 2017Happy was a wonderful artist and explained her craft and natural products. She is very creative and skillful, my only complaint is she was late due to traffic and of course would stay to make up the time she was late. She kept asking how many more clients during the shower which rubbed me the wrong way because it didnt matter, stay for the duration that you were hired.

Hi Falicia,
Really appreciated that brought up the concern and provided me the opportunity for explanation. First of I do apologize for the inconvenience. But Falicia I would need you to understand that I commuted from Baltimore MD to D.C., and I expected the traffic to heavy so I left home with extra 30 mins, but it seem that traffic condition was even more worst than what I expected. As your event was in the afternoon you know it's a very common hours when the interstate have heavy traffic. And the reason I kept asking for how many guest we are remaining is due to multiple reasons. 1. I wanted to make sure all your guest have gotten their henna done. And as we were in a time limit I had to make sure the amount of time I have to spend with each guest in order to have everyone covered. 2. The guest were not automatically coming up to me to have the henna done (I assume they were paying attention to the speech) so I had to ask most of the guest if they wanted to have the henna done. So I needed to know how many guest were there and if there were more guest who still needs henna done.
Felicia I greatly appreciate the opportunity of working with you and I hope I get to work with you again in the future. And also thank you about the nice words that you said.

Happy Hennaing! I hope you will have an amazing experience while getting your henna done. I aim to provide comfort and joy, and most of all I look to earn your compliment.
Henna body art is and has been existed for thousands of years, as a way of expressing art and a way of self expression of your beauty. The tradition of henna had traveled through many culture and generations, but always had carried a message of celebration, happiness and the joy of togetherness. Remember good henna looks beautiful, smells wonderful, takes time and care to achieve the best result, and last for two weeks.
At last henna is meant to be FUN, I hope all the information here will help you experience an amazing henna session.
Hi Everyone!
My name Razia Happy. Born in Bangladesh and in my teenage years I moved to New York US. I lived with my mother in NY until one day I meet a really kind and wonderful man who happened to propose me, Then I happened to get married and move to Baltimore MD.
So I developed a passion for arts at a very young age, I love to draw, and I want to draw things that I have never seen before. With the pressure of cultural change as I move to US and learning my new language "English", the only entertainment that I had in my life was drawing.
I have been practicing henna body art since a long time now, and I focus on precision and artistic designs that portray a feel of traditional and contemporary motifs. The best part of my work that I love is "If you have an Idea, I want to make it even better"
The last thing I want to say is Art contains Love & Love contains Art, and they both combines together to become Happiness, Joy, Peace, and Harmony.
FAQ's
1. What Is Henna? And How does it leaves a stain?
Henna is shrub which grows in the desert regions of Africa, the Middle East, and India. The leaves of this plant contain a powerful staining molecule called lawsone. This naturally occurring dye binds with the keratin in skin and hair, creating a reddish brown stain that has been used for centuries for beautification. The staining process begins with the application of a paste made from the powdered plant, lemon juice, specific essential oils, and sugar. This paste is applied to skin, allowed to remain for several hours as the plant's dye penetrates the top layers of skin. The dried paste is then removed to reveal an orange stain. This orange stain will darken over the next 2 to 4 days as the lawsone molecules oxidize from contact with oxygen... just as a sliced apple turns from white to brown if left in the open air. If high quality henna is used and proper aftercare is followed, a henna stain should last approximately 2 weeks, depending on where on the body the henna is applied. While a henna stain is technically permanent, your skin is not. As your skin naturally exfoliates, it takes the stain with it, which is why henna is considered a temporary body art.
2. Is Henna Safe?
Generally speaking, yes. Natural henna is a very safe product. Allergic reactions to natural henna are extremely rare. I have never witnessed anyone who having allergic reaction in my years of experience.
How ever henna plant material contains a minerals that is also found in various medicine, fruits and also frozen foods such aspirin, fava beans. People who are allergic to aspirin or ibuprofen or fruits should not be exposed to henna. Also people who have existing skin condition such as Psoriasis or Shingles should speak to the professional artist or dermatologist before have henna applied to their skin. Contact me for more information if you have any questions or concerns that worries you from getting henna done.
3. What are the difference between Organic Henna, Black Henna, Chemically treated henna, and Red Henna?
Organic Henna will contains only organic ingredient in the paste such as Powdered Henna Leaves, Sugar, Lemon Juice and Natural Fragrance Oil made from Flower. I believe it already sounds safe.
Black Henna contains a specific chemical know as PPD, This chemical is widely used in Hair Dye, and many other Dye. Black Henna was invented with the intention of using it for hair only. PPD is not a bad chemical but it is not for skin. The reason for its popularity rise is due to the quick and easy stain that the PPD dye produces. While natural henna takes time and care to achieve the best results, PPD stains skin from dark red/brown to black almost immediately and with no care at all. PPD is also a sensitizer, meaning that you may be exposed to it several times with no harmful side effects, but in no way it should be considered as a safe alternative.
Chemically treated henna doesn't contain PPD **(although one's sold on the counter may contain small amount of PPD)** but does contain chemicals such as benzene, kerosene, metal salts, and etc. This chemical are not suppose to be harmful according to a lot of chemical experts I have spoken to but things quickly changes in the production, distribution and retailing process. Those chemical needs to handled by highly experienced chemist to insure the quality and proportionality. Those chemical are very sensitive to temperature. And will require a massive clinical test performed before it can be said safe to use. Unfortunate a henna artist and henna suppliers are not enough qualified comparing to a chemist to produce such sensitive product. Tip to figure out it was chemically treated "they smell similar to gasoline.
Red Henna is the type commonly seen in Salons and Super Market, Its just the same as Natural Henna but in addition it will have a small amount of dye added to it. Those dye are the similar to the dye used by make up artist to paint on the skin. Although it is considered safe but NOT MY RECOMMENDATION.
4. Why or How do I claim that my Henna is safe?
I personally hand make my henna cones, I am fully aware of the ingredient and my surrounding. I process the Henna powder into paste in a sterilized environment. My henna cones contain all organic product, and totally free of chemicals or contamination. Whenever a batch is produced I test the first cone on myself for irritations and color result. If I am not satisfied the entire batch will be discarded. I shelve my batch for three days only.
