What to expect

When asked what to expect at a show, he said:
“Expect a straight-up old-school stand-up set out of me. Jokes, man, I write the jokes. Do you like comedy songs? Good, because sometimes I will put up a list of my songs and if most of the audience responds with something like: Let’s hear "Benedict Cumberbatch Can’t Say Penguin" or some other song - then I’ll push the button for the song. The speaker will play the tune while the projector projects the lyrics behind me. I use the projector so you can follow along and look for spelling errors. Also, go ahead and bring low expectations - that way, I can exceed them easier. Forget the awards, I’m a nobody. Always have been.”

Well you heard it - he’s won some awards, he’s featured for some very funny people, and, since you’re reading this, he’s probably a really great fit for the event you're booking talent for.

About

Destitute stand-up comedian Uncool Randy (pronounced “Uncle Randy”) is the first person in recorded history to score above 130 on the IQ test while having an actual real-life IQ of somewhere around 79. He is a stand-up comedian who is also an acclaimed comedy songwriter/singer/rapper - making him the sworn enemy of stand-up comedy purists.

He was, however, awarded Best of the Fest at the 2024 Burbank Comedy Festival, first place at the 2023 Funniest Person in Louisville Comedy Competition, and awarded Best Song of 2022 via Leo Reader’s Choice Awards - so the risk/reward is probably pretty good.

His jokes? Sarcastic and wild. His songs? Like Weird George Carlin Yankovic. His apartment and worldly possessions? Blown to bits by billionaires (True story, google Randy Crumley Explosion). I have a wireless speaker and projector that takes 2 minutes to set up if we want to go that route with musical comedy.

Weekend Work/Name Dropping:
I have opened (featured) and hosted for a ton of people, including: Trailer Park Boys, Eddie Pepitone, Mo Alexander, Mandee McKelvie, Billy Wayne Davis, Caitlin Peluffo, Gwen Sunkle, Dan Alten, Patti Vasquez, Sean Smith, Blake Hammond, Wendi Ferguson, and a bunch of other fine folks. Headline regularly at comedy clubs and whatever other venues. Host a weekly show at one of the clubs in Louisville. etc

Additional booking notes

I have my own Bose SB1 speaker and a battery powered projector - both are able to be powered for hours by battery and are good enough for venues of 500 or less. I have my own mics and cables. Sometimes I'll use a vocal pedal, which I can plug into a battery if needed for outdoor venues and such. I won't turn down a sound guy, makes my day a lot easier, but I do have all of my own gear where necessary. Projector screen, all of that stuff.

Set list

Hello, I'm so and so.
Ohhh look at this.
Ohhh here's some jokes and pauses for laughter.
Oh look, here are some songs, you want some songs or you want more jokes?
Okay let's do that, here you go.
You liked that, have a good night, thank you.

Influences and inspiration

Norm Macdonald, Bernie Mac, Weird Al, Michelle Wolf, George Carlin, Queens of the Stone Age, NAS, Beastie Boys, Michael McDonald, Mamma Cass Elliot, bunch of awesome people.

Setup requirements

Need good lighting at the place.

I have my own stuff, but it's a big plus if you have a sound guy that can hook up to a projector or TV or chromecast or something. Not required, just nice if you're requesting a musical set.
