When you hire Uncle Beef's Band, you are in for an energetic show. The band has an exciting frontman, soulful keyboard playing, powerful drumming, and some tasty guitars.
We are a rock and roll outfit from Denver, Colorado. We primarily play covers of great bands like the Grateful Dead, Neil Young, The Band, Widespread Panic, and others you may or may not have heard of.
Uncle Beef's Band came to life in the fall of 2021 when bass player, James Roede, and lead vocalist and guitarist, John Marentette started jamming as a way to escape the madness of pandemic life. A few months later, Darcy Shaw, who is also a member of the band Vox de Ville, joined the jams as Beef's drummer. Soon after, keyboardist Cole Michel, also a member of Ghost Revue, and his long time friend Joel Meyerson joined the group as the lead guitarist, rounding out the powerful, soulful sound.
We are just starting to scratch the surface of our potential, so come and check us out. We look forward to rocking your socks off!!
Basically, all we need is power! We currently have a PA system that can be used for some small shows, but would prefer that the venue provide appropriate staging, sound and lighting for the desired show.
