December 19, 2025Reliable, gifted artist
Tyler played for my Halloween wedding ceremony and dinner reception. We had no rehearsal and she was able to accurately start and stop. I got so many compliments on her playing during our dinner/mingle time. She was punctual and provided such a peaceful atmosphere.

October 24, 2025People who make weddings easy are the best!
Tyler is just the best! There are so many things to keep track of during wedding planning and she was so detail oriented that the music barely needed any follow up after the initial meeting. She was great! And the music was so elegant! She has great range and versatility, performing everything from classical to modern instrumentals to some K-Pop song the ring barer and flower girl wanted for their dance. The guests loved it and the music really made the day feel extra romantic. I can not recommend her enough for a low stress but high quality experience!

About
Tyler Hartley is an award-winning harpist delivering polished performances that make your event shine! Customize the soundtrack of your wedding with an extensive list of songs, from Bach to the Beatles to Beyonce. Harp and violin duo available upon request.
Tyler has performed for countless weddings, parties, and corporate events. She has curated a repertoire that is both timeless and fresh.
Tyler Hartley began harp lessons at the age of six with Curtis graduate and Atlanta Opera harpist Susan Bennett Brady. Throughout middle and high school, Tyler pursued a variety of performance experiences including 12 years in the Atlanta Harp Ensemble and four years in the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra. She studied at the Eastman School of Music, where she was a recipient of the Eileen Malone Scholarship.
Tyler serves as principal harpist for the Alpharetta Symphony and the Gwinnett Ballet Theatre Orchestra and second harpist for the Georgia Symphony Orchestra. In addition, she frequently freelances with various regional orchestras, wind ensembles, and choral groups including the Georgia Philharmonic Orchestra, Atlanta Philharmonic Orchestra, Jacksonville Symphony, Knoxville Symphony, North Georgia Symphony Orchestra, South Florida Symphony Orchestra, Athens Choral Society, Voices of North Georgia, Tara Winds, Atlanta Freedom Band, and the Atlanta Wind Symphony.
Tyler frequently performs as a harp and violin duo with her partner, violinist Ryan William Gregory. Ryan holds a master's degree in violin performance and is a member of the Atlanta Opera.
In addition to performing. Tyler teaches private lessons on both lever and pedal harp to students of all ages.
Additional booking notes
The harp needs about 6 square feet of level, solid ground on which to sit. Stairs, steep hills, and rocky or bumpy terrain can be very difficult and unsafe to navigate, so all of these must be discussed before I arrive at your venue.
I provide amplification for all services.

Influences and inspiration
My favorite classical composers are Bach, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Debussy, Rachmaninoff, and Ravel. I also listen to a lot of contemporary music, and especially love indie rock and pop.
Setup requirements
Wheelchair accessibility (i.e. ramps or elevators) to performance area
A sturdy, level foundation with enough room for the harp, a music stand, and a bench
A tent or canopy is preferable if the event is to be outdoors in the summer- the harp should not be in direct sunlight during the summer for long durations, as it can cause the glue to melt and the wood to expand
