I am a classically trained harpist with a bachelor's degree in music performance and over ten years of professional performance experience.
I offer a wide variety of musical selections for every part of the wedding- background music for the engagement party, bridal shower, or rehearsal dinner, prelude music, ceremony music, cocktail hour, and reception. I also play background music for special events.
I pride myself on providing an excellent customer service experience from start to finish- I work closely with my clients to customize a music playlist that reflects their tastes and preferences, and I deliver polished performances that leave a lasting impression.
Tyler was perfect! She always responded to my emails quickly. She suggested music and even recorded a few songs specifically for me to see which way I liked it best. She was so easy to work with. I wish all my wedding vendors would have been as great as her!
The music provided by Tyler was just beautiful! She was very sweet and easy to work with leading up to my wedding. She has a great selection of songs to choose from... I believe I chose a Midsummer's Night Dream for my walk down the aisle and it was perfect. I would highly recommend her.
Besides being a wonderful harpist, Tyler is very professional and prepared. She sent several emails asking questions and confirming wedding pieces that we picked. She was very adaptable by preparing a special piece that she did not have listed on her site that I wanted to have playing as I walked down the aisle. She showed up early to my wedding rehearsal to get the timing right for walking transitions and showed up early to start playing pre-ceremony music on the day of the wedding. For months afterwards, when people mentioned our wedding, the "harpist who played beautifully" would come up in conversation. You definitely want her for your event! Thank you, Tyler!
Tyler was hired to play during my wedding ceremony at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center last August. She was very professional and easy to work with. She sent along information that was nicely organized and had a lot of her recording available online which made the research and decision making process much easier.
She was great at timing the music throughout the entire ceremony which consisted of the usual walking in of the wedding party, parents, but during the vows and prayers, we added in couple different elements which required her to be very attentive and she was.
Tyler also always showed up earlier before the set time to get herself set up so I never had to worry. I would highly recommend her.

Additional Booking Notes
The harp needs about 6 square feet of level, solid ground on which to sit. Stairs, steep hills, and rocky or bumpy terrain can be very difficult and unsafe to navigate, so all of these must be discussed before I arrive at your venue.
I don't need any amplification- the harp is surprisingly loud on it's own!

Influences & Inspiration
My favorite classical composers are Bach, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Debussy and Ravel. My favorite non-classical musicians include The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Cake, and Radiohead
Wheelchair accessibility (i.e. ramps or elevators) to performance area
A sturdy, level foundation with enough room for the harp, a music stand, and a bench
A tent or canopy is preferable if the event is to be outdoors in the summer- the harp should not be in direct sunlight during the summer for long durations, as it can cause the glue to melt and the wood to expand
