Tychelle R. Mosely, an artist hailing from Silver Spring, MD, has a remarkable story of resilience and triumph. Born to a Vietnam War veteran father who was honorably discharged due to severe injury, Tychelle's early childhood was marked by struggles of pain, uncertainty, and homelessness. Despite these challenges, her father nurtured her artistic talents from a young age. This served as the foundation for her flourishing career as an artist and entrepreneur based in Germantown, MD. Her journey took her to college at the age of 15, where she earned her associate's degree from CCAC and later a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Strayer University.
Along the way, Tychelle faced a major setback when she broke her back in three places, being told she would never walk, have children, or live a normal life. However, she persisted, defying the odds and rising to become an inspiring figure in her community and beyond. Her artwork has found its place in the private collection of billionaire Stefan Soloviev and has resonated with international dignitaries.
