Overview
Flatland Bluegrass is a talented group of bluegrass musicians in the Lubbock, TX area. The group was founded by brothers Randy and Jeff Redman in 1977 and the band performed at numerous festivals for years. We’ve lost and added a few members over the years, and just welcomed a new upright bass player. Our musical style of bluegrass is similar to Hot Rize, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, Bill Monroe and the Dillard’s. We are a full band consisting of Banjo, Acoustic Guitar, Fiddle, Mandolin, Upright Bass, & Vocals.

About
Two of a Kind is a talented duo of bluegrass/country/Americana musicians in the Lubbock, TX area. The group is comprised of Dawson Marrow and Jade Throneberry. Dawson grew up with a guitar in hand playing everything from Jerry Reed to Van Halen to traditional bluegrass. Jade was inspired by a fiddler at the legendary cactus theater to start playing when she was 7 years old, then picked up guitar and mandolin somewhere along the way. Our musical style can only be described as diverse, in our regular set we have acoustic covers of the Eagles, Johnny Cash, Tyler Childers, the Steeldrivers, Ricky Skaggs, and many more. We have shared the stage with many talented musicians including Lonestar, The Steeldrivers, the Issac’s, William Clark Green, Marty Haggard and Randy Rogers.
Additional booking notes
We do provide our own sound system but for small venues we can be completely acoustic.
