I am extremely passionate and a seasoned saxophonist with over 35 years of experience. I’m considered a virtuoso soprano, alto and tenor saxophone player. I have a strong musical foundation in gospel, smooth jazz, pop, blues, funk, rock, r&b and neo-soul. As a solo performer, I have perfected my skill as a saxophonist which has scintillated many audience’s. I add sparkle and elegance while mingling comfortably at any function, corporate or private event, dinner parties, cocktail hours, weddings, wine tastings, fundraisers and all other occasions and events.

Tim is not only an excellent musician, he's an upstanding person of great character. He filled in at the last minute for a band who had to cancel our event. He graciously stepped in, WOWed and engaged the crowd with his skills and interaction. It's as if that saxophone is an extension of him. Everyone had a great time and are hopeful he will be open to entertaining us again in the near future.

I hired him to play the ceremony of my wedding a year before it happened. He has been a great at responding and adapting to any changes I had. His library of music was vast and gave myself and fiancé a lot to choose from and we were able to choose songs not on his suggested list. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed his music at our ceremony. The songs I chose sounded wonderful and I can’t wait to re love it once I get my video back. He was an excellent performer and I definitely recommend him.

What to Expect
I will add SPARKLE and ELEGANCE while mingling comfortably at any function, corporate or private, dinner parties, cocktail hours, weddings, wine tastings, fundraisers and all other occasions and events. I tailor my performance according to the customers request. I'm very flexible and verse in any style of music. I provide my own sound system that accommodates any type of venue.

Tim is extremely passionate and a seasoned saxophonist with over 35 years of experience. He is considered a virtuoso soprano, alto, baritone and tenor saxophone player. He has a strong musical foundation in Gospel, Smooth Jazz, Pop, Blues, Funk, Rock R&B and Neo-Soul.
These days Tim continues playing regularly both in clubs and concerts with, “Tim Tolber & Company”, the “Marvin Gaye Motown Tribute Band”, The Russell Blues Band as well a Soloist performer. He’s a former member of Mike Harris & Friends. While freelancing he makes frequent guest appearances with various other groups. With his attractive and soulful sounds on his horns, his versatility remains in constant demand. “I'm thrilled to be doing what I'm doing,” he says. “I’m very fortunate to be able to work at something I’m passionate about. I plan to continue putting my music out there as long as I am able, and hope people continue to enjoy it. That’s what makes me very happy.”

I am equipped with small to large sound systems to accommodate any size venue. I'm equipped with wireless mic for both my sax and to accommodate any singer. I provide highly professional backing tracks with full instrumentation for any requested performance. As a soloist I am also able to provide a band if required, from 2 piece all the way up to a 6 piece.

Those who have influenced me are Gerald Albright, Dave Kos, Boney James, Richard Elliot, and Kirk Whalum. I have admired and study the influential sounds of John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, Lester Young and Sonny Rollins as well as Johnny Hodges and Duke Ellington. There are many bands that have impacted my playing such as Earth, Wind and Fire, Santana, O'Jays, Temptations, Chaka Khan, Beach Boys, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Marvin Gaye ect.
