I can officiate and DJ weddings, host karaoke and trivia nights, and emcee corporate parties or nonprofit fundraisers.
So why pick me? Because I care that all of my events turn out awesome. I take notes on what is needed and wanted, I check out the venue beforehand, I show up early in case my setup hits a snag, and I enthusiastically work the mic to ensure that everyone has a great time. If I am hired to emcee an event, the audience can expect clear communication, gentle humor, and a well-paced event. I will keep them smiling, but I know that the event is not about me. I will use my voice, gestures, and facial expressions to encourage the desired level of engagement and energy. I will keep the audience informed as to what is coming up, introduce other participants with the appropriate level of gravity or levity, and remind the audience of anything they need to know (i.e., how much time left in a silent auction, drink specials, etc).
