Carolyn was so fantastic and we were so happy to have her at my wife’s 50th birthday celebration. She was great right from the start, communicating proactively and asking great questions. She also asked if the party had a theme, which I appreciated, because we did indeed have a theme and when she arrived, her outfit fit right in (nothing too crazy; our theme was sparkles and sequins!)

She played some background music when she first arrived to get the guests into the mood. Once we started in earnest, she played every song we requested while everyone sang along. We were a group of 30 or so pretty amateur singers with a lot of energy, and she was wonderful throughout.

We very much appreciated having her there and would recommend her to anyone wanting to hire a talented and nice piano player who is able to go with the flow. Our guests kept telling us how fun it was to have this at our party!

I booked Carolyn for a surprise “live karaoke” event for my sister’s bachelorette party—and boy did she DELIVER. Not only was she incredibly proactive in communicating leading up to the event, but she also came PREPARED without me even asking (music selection, lyrics, amps, mic stands, ETC). She practiced songs I had thought of that she hadn’t been familiar with, thought about which song to open the event with, and had everything covered.

She is a fantastic pianist, amazing vocalist, and has an amazing, kind and joyful presence that will make ALL the difference to your event. She played Broadway, pop, ballads, and even some high school musical.

I can’t sing her praises enough. We were chanting “Carolyn” by the end of the night. We sang and laughed the entire time. If you do one thing today, it should be reaching out to Carolyn for your event!!! I wish I could upload photos to this review so you could see the fun we had. Everyone said it was the best event they’d ever attended!! All thanks to Carolyn.
