I have been writing country/gospel and country songs since 2018 that are meant to encourage folks in their walk with Jesus, or just simply celebrate the blessings of His creation around us.
I also do cover songs as well from rock, country, folk, and numerous others as well.
I create my own soundtracks for these songs that I have written, and then sing with them while playing my guitar.
I also love to sing for folks who are shut-in.

I am a simple fella who aims to provide good music, good healthy lyrics, and a good message of hope that I have found in Jesus; whether I am singing a gospel song or a good clean country song.
I require a relatively small "footprint" from which to sing for folks.
My system consists of the following:
- an EV50 amp/speaker column system
- soundtracks from an iPad
- my guitar
- a microphone

My name is Trevor Toews.
I was born in Saskatchewan, raised in Manitoba, and now live in Edmonton, Alberta.
My main job right now is as a Heavy Duty Mechanic, but I love to head out on the weekends to sing for folks at various venues.
I have written many songs, created my own background tracks, and sing with them while playing my 12 -string guitar.
I have a little over 470 songs so far, and growing, on my website - (link hidden)
I have no lighting equipment at present.
I have an iPad, a guitar, and can provide my own microphone with a small selection of connector cables.
I also have a Roland Busker speaker for smaller venues, but I have plugged into bigger sound systems such as are provided at jamborees & concerts; but I do not own my own monitor.
If required to provide such, I do have my own mike stands, podium stands, etc.
Depending on the size of event, I have usually been given a 30 minute to 45 minute set in which to sing my songs, but I am quite prepared to go beyond that if requested, or for numerous sets.
I have experienced such a wide range of positive musical influences in my years, but I would have to say that most of my songs have been written with a distinctive country sound to them.
With all that said, most all of my self-written songs are of the gospel genre; describing just how good God is.
