Beautiful and entertaining.

We hired Tresor and his singers to perform at a 40th birthday. Their voices were incredible and they sang the most beautiful arrangement of Happy Birthday I have ever heard.

Additionally they performed a custom piece of music as a surprise. They were a huge hit and I am so greatful for the energy they brought to our special party!

About

I’m an award-winning singer, composer, choral conductor, and ordained pastor with over 20 years of performance experience across four continents. I hold a B.A. in Music (Trinity Western University), a Certificate in Musical Theatre (Choréia, Paris), and a Business Diploma (Pigier, Lille). I currently lead Trésor Music Ministry and am completing a Master’s in Choral Conducting at Messiah University, alongside an Artist Diploma in Voice Performance at the Vancouver Academy of Music.

In 2015, I founded the Juste Chanter Gospel Choir, a bilingual ensemble known for joyful, inclusive, and participatory performances. Rooted in my calling as both a gospel artist and pastor, our work has been presented in festivals, churches, schools, universities, retirement and senior living communities, and community venues—ranging from intimate solo or duo settings to full choir-and-band productions.

Musically, my sound blends African-American gospel with Congolese rumba, R&B/Soul, and classical choral craft. Performances are designed as shared experiences—expect call-and-response, body percussion, simple harmonies taught from the stage, and short stories that illuminate the spiritual, cultural, and historical roots of the music.

I am fluent in English and French and also speak Lingala. Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, raised in France, and now based in Canada, my work reflects a deep belief—shaped by faith and pastoral leadership—that music builds bridges across cultures, generations, and beliefs. As an educator and pastor at heart, I guide audiences with clarity and care on a musical journey that engages body, mind, and soul, always tailored to the purpose and spirit of each event.

What I Offer
Pricing varies based on ensemble size, event type, technical needs, and travel. Performances are scalable from solo/duo to full choir and band.

Worship & Inspirational Concerts – Gospel-centered, pastor-led performances with space for praise, reflection, and participation

Festival & Theatre Sets – High-energy, groove-driven programs rooted in gospel, rumba, and R&B

Community & Special Events – Inclusive, family-friendly concerts mixing classics, originals, and sing-along moments

School Concerts & Workshops (FR/EN) – Curriculum-friendly programs introducing rhythm, harmony, and cultural context

Choir Collaborations – Residencies or guest features with local choirs, often culminating in a shared finale
Formats & Flexibility

Available as solo/duo, small ensemble, or full choir and band. Programs can be acoustic and reverent or fully amplified and dynamic. Performances are offered in English, French, or bilingually, with Lingala included upon request.

I work closely with presenters and production teams to ensure a smooth, well-paced, and worry-free experience from planning to performance.

My artistic path has been shaped by the African diaspora, classical choral training, and pastoral ministry. I’ve been honoured with awards including 100% Phénomènes (France) and Pacifique en Chanson (Canada). My recordings include the album Destin—featured on Ethiopian Airlines in-flight programming—and the EPs R&B Ndombolo 1 & 2. Music also runs deep in my family: my father, Pépé Felly Manuaku, is a legendary Congolese rumba guitarist whose influence continues to shape my rhythm, harmony, and stage presence.

Professionalism & Vision
I value clear communication, thoughtful preparation, and respect for each space I serve. Whether in a sanctuary, theatre, school gym, or outdoor stage, my goal is the same: to offer musical excellence that uplifts, connects, and leaves people lighter than they arrived. That is the heart behind Trésor Music Ministry and the Juste Chanter Gospel Choir.

Influences and inspiration

My influences reflect both my musical heritage and my formal training. At the core is gospel music, from traditional spirituals to contemporary praise and worship, which shapes my sense of purpose, call-and-response, and community engagement.
I’m also deeply influenced by classical music and choral tradition, which inform my approach to harmony, vocal blend, structure, and conducting. From my cultural roots, Congolese rumba brings rhythm, groove, and a strong sense of dance and celebration.

Growing up in France exposed me to chanson française, which influences my storytelling, lyric sensitivity, and emotional nuance. I also draw from R&B and hip-hop, especially their groove, vocal expression, and ability to connect authentically with modern audiences.

Together, these influences shape a sound that is soulful, rhythmic, harmonically rich, and accessible—grounded in tradition while open to contemporary expression.
