Trent Mayo is a Country Music singer/songwriter from Stone Mountain, GA. His low voice eagerly tackles the likes of Johnny Cash, Josh Turner, and Chris Young while being a throwback to Classic Country. Although Trent has new, original music, he keeps the crowd going and the bar happy playing a mix of about 80% covers. Trent's sets include Country hits from the 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's as well as current party songs while taking request from the crowd and adjusting the set depending on your customers' preference. A professional Country singer/guitarist for 15+ years, Trent's shows are what Country music is all about: Good stories, Good times, and Great fun! Trent gets the crowd singin' along to a wide range of Country hits from the 50's to now and specializes in taking requests on the spot. He enjoys letting the crowd lead the way with their musical tastes, adjusting the set list accordingly while maintaining the overall sound and energy set out by the client. Garth Brooks, Eric Church, Kenny Chesney, Morgan Wallen, George Strait, Johnny Cash, Alan Jackson, Waylon Jennings, Brooks & Dunn, Zac Brown Band, Florida Georgia Line, Dierks Bentley and many more can be heard on any night.
Trent's favorites include all the 90's Country hits as well Classic Country, but he also enjoys mixing in Southern Rock, Oldies, Blues, and Classic Rock depending on the crowd. No matter the Country sound you're looking for, he's got you covered!
After years of experience performing daily at the numerous bars and honkytonks along Nashville, TN’s Broadway, Trent recently moved back to his GA roots, playing shows throughout the southeast. Prior to moving to Nashville, Trent contracted with Carnival Cruise Lines touring and performing nightly as a solo acoustic act aboard the Carnival Fantasy and Carnival Freedom throughout the Bahamas and Caribbean. With home ports of Charleston, SC and Galveston, TX Trent has performed for thousands of guests gaining fans all over the US and Canada.
When not performing, Trent enjoys being in great outdoors with his wife and two kids, going to races, and wrenching on their old Broncos. You may catch him in a movie or TV show too where he also works film industry as an actor and stunt performer.
Additional booking notes
As a single acoustic guitarist/singer I have a fairly small stage footprint. My Bose PA system sounds great with small groups to 350 guests and I have additional equipment should the size of the party or venue necessitate.
