I am sensitive to the volume. I should never be too loud.
I take a 15 minute break after the first hour, then 45-50 minute sets for the rest of the performace.
I like to talk and lightly interact with the crowd, if appropriate.
I perform, but if you hired me, you are the boss. I am very accommodating.
I'm Trent Urbytes, and have spent much of my life on stage. I formed my first polka band when I was 13 near Frankenmuth, MI.
Since then I've performed professionally for over a decade at the Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn, accompanied Schuhplattler dancing groups, lead and recorded with my band, Polka Riot,and traveled around the country with bands such as The Dynabrass, Tony Blazonczyk's New Phase, and The New Brass Express. I've played countless clubs, festivals, weddings and celebrations of all types.
I love to play and sing songs. I love bringing joy to people through my music. I love seeing people sing along to songs they've known for years, and introduce them to new tunes as well.
I'm confident you will enjoy my music too!
