The Trent Anthony Band is a Classical Rock, Rock, Alternative Rock, & R&B band that is dedicated to fully entertaining and satisfying our audience. We take special pride in having the most fun on stage. We strive to include the audience in every song by many different means like having them sing along, clap and dance, or just sit and sway to the sweet sounds coming from the stage! Anyone whom attends an event entertained by The Trent Anthony Band should expect the very best in classical rock and r&b cover tunes from the 60's through the 2000's! We also have many originals that are compared with the best songs by the Temptations to Z Z Top, B.B. King to The Fabulous Thunder Birds, James Brown to Michael Jackson and many more top performers! We do a variety of different sounds so that everyone at your event will be fully satisfied and thoroughly glad that they were a part of an outstanding happening.
The Trent Anthony Band is comprised of four hard working musicians--Trent Anthony on Vocals and Guitar, Ron Cobb on Keyboards and Vocals, Ted Kotoff on Bass and Vocals, and last but not least, Rick Maclin on Drums and Vocals. Collectively, they have many years of professional experience and bring it every time they play! The Event Planner can count on The Trent Anthony Band's energy level to be "at the top" and their entertainment abilities are rated equal with the best in the business. They prove to be exceptionally adept at including anything musically that the event planner wants to include for the gig. When it comes to our sound, we strive to use the latest innovations that are available which enhances the audiences enjoyment of the event. We also use the top lighting and special effects that other bands do not for some reason include into their shows. We mean to make your enjoyment of the event the most important issue of the function. We find that when we make you happy, that makes us happy!
I would refer you to read our influences and just about anything that was a number one hit by that band would be a song that we play, plus we have MANY originals that we incorporate into our show! They are, for the most part, indistinguishable by quality from the commercial hits of most of the bands that we emulate on stage through cover songs!
Every member of The Trent Anthony Band has many different influences. Some of those are The Temptations to Z Z Top, James Brown to The Fabulous Thunder Birds, Led Zeppelin to Santana! B.B. King, Jimi Hendrix and Van Morrison. Some of the more modern musical influences are Pearl Jam, Rage Against the Machine, and Rush. We also take some energy from U2, The Wallflowers, Sting, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers! To leave out probably the two most influential bands ever-The Beatles and The Rolling Stones-would be a travesty, to say the least! We are a very diverse and variety targeted Classical Rock, Rock, Alternative Rock, and R&B band! We will rock you, guaranteed!
