Okie dokes, my contortion origins story started circa 2012 while living in Seoul, Korea. I was a runner since childhood, which lead to joining a youth track club, leading to excelling city-wide, then state wide and eventually landing a full-athletic scholarship to Tulane University, where I continued to excel and EVEN had the pleasure of running at the NCAA's indoor competition in the 4x400m relay.

Track and Field is what literally shaped me mental and physically for contortion and ironically enough, it’s how track physically shaped me which is WHY I even started contortion.

When I first started, I was ego driven and just wanted to be bendy, then I saw the positive effects of contortion/stretching and how it was literally healing my body, my goals shifted as I realized the importance of stretching in general and how it NOT ONLY possibly reversed chronic conditions like my osteoarthritis, but also reduce pain, aid in injury prevention, keep the body youthful and flexible among other benefits. I also wanted to find a way to impart knowledge from my contortion journey onto others by sharing its benefits as I felt I was literally a walk advertisement of how stretching does the body good.

Today, that is where my goal remains. Contortion is not only my life, but it has changed my life and I keep on keeping on so that I can motivate and inspired those around me. Stretching is for ANYBODY with ANY BODY. Going forward, I'd like to be the bridge for the everyday person to be flexibly strong, thus improving their overall physical performance and health, quality of life AND at the very least impart knowledge I’ve gained over the years about how invaluable overall mobility is.
