What to expect
Planning a wedding is a lot. You are making dozens of decisions at once, coordinating people who have never met each other, and trying to hold space for the fact that this day actually matters to you — not just as an event to execute but as something you will carry with you for the rest of your life.
Music by Tracy exists to make one part of that easier. Not just to show up and sing, but to be a vendor you never have to worry about.
FROM THE MOMENT YOU REACH OUT
Tracy responds personally to every inquiry — usually the same day, always within 24 hours. You will not get an automated reply or a quote from a booking assistant. You will get Tracy, asking about your date, your venue, and what you are imagining for your day. That conversation is where everything starts, and it is completely free with no obligation attached.
If you decide to move forward, you will receive a written proposal that lays out exactly what is included and what it costs. Nothing changes between the proposal and the contract. There are no line items that appear at signing that were not in the original quote.
Once your date is on the books, Tracy starts preparing. If you have a specific song you want — something personal, something she may not already know — she learns it. That is not an upsell. It is part of the service.
About 30 days before your wedding, she will reach out to confirm every detail: timing, setlist, any last-minute changes, who to coordinate with at the venue. By the time your wedding day arrives, there is nothing left to figure out. It has all been sorted.
ON YOUR WEDDING DAY
Tracy arrives 90 minutes before she is scheduled to perform. She sets up her own equipment, does her own sound check, and introduces herself to whoever is coordinating the day. You will not need to manage her. She will find the people she needs to find, get everything in place, and be ready — so you can focus on everything else.
If something unexpected happens — and sometimes it does — she handles it quietly. A timeline that runs a few minutes long, a last-minute song request, a sound hiccup during setup. These things do not rattle her. She handles them without making it anyone else’s problem.
WHAT YOUR GUESTS WILL FEEL
There is a difference between music playing at your wedding and music being performed at your wedding. When Tracy sings your processional, your guests are not hearing a recording. They are hearing a live voice in the room with them, in that specific moment, for you specifically.
People feel that difference even when they cannot name it. They lean in. They get quiet. Someone in the back row tears up and is not quite sure why. That is not something a playlist can do. It is something a live performer does when they are fully present and genuinely invested in the moment — which Tracy always is.
And if you have added the Crystal Tones sound bath as a ceremony opener, the room will feel different before a single word is spoken. Guests describe it the same way every time: they did not expect to feel that much, that quickly.
AFTER THE DAY
The best thing Tracy hears after a wedding is not a compliment about her voice. It is a couple telling her that the music was one of the things their guests kept talking about. That the ceremony felt exactly the way they hoped it would. That it was worth it.
That is what she is working toward every time.
These are among the most requested songs in Tracy’s repertoire. If you have a song in mind that is not listed here, ask — chances are she already knows it or will learn it for your event.

Don’t see your song? Request it. Tracy’s full repertoire spans soul, R&B, pop, country, classic rock, jazz, and gospel — and she adds new material regularly.
A DJ plays music you love. A live vocalist performs it — in the room, in the moment, specifically for you.
There is a neurological reason live music hits differently. A live voice produces micro-variations in pitch, breath, and dynamics that no recording captures. Your nervous system recognizes the difference even when your brain does not. It is why you can hear a song a thousand times on a playlist and then hear it performed live and feel it for the first time.
At a wedding, that difference matters most during the ceremony. The processional, the unity candle, the recessional — these are unrepeatable moments. A recording playing through a speaker is the same every time. A live voice is only happening once, right now, for the people in that room.
You do not have to choose between live music and a full dance floor. Tracy’s Live Vocalist + DJ package gives you both.
If you are planning a bachelorette party, bridal shower, or bridesmaid luncheon for someone who deserves more than a standard night out — the Crystal Tones sound bath experience is the most memorable option available in Jacksonville right now, and nothing else comes close.
Here is what it looks like: a group of 8 to 15 women in a candlelit space, lying or sitting comfortably, while Tracy plays hand-curated Crystal Tones alchemy bowls and weaves her live voice into the frequencies. Guests consistently describe it as the deepest relaxation they have ever felt — and the most bonding experience the group has shared. It is not a spa day. It is not a yoga class. It is something that most of the women in the room will never have experienced before, and they will be talking about it for years.
It also happens to be the only experience of its kind in North Florida. There is nothing to compare it to because there is nothing like it here.
Intimate groups of 2 to 8: $300 flat. Groups of 9 to 15: $45 per person. Add a candlelit venue and you have an event the bride will remember long after the alternative has faded.

About
Tracy Russell is a Jacksonville-based professional vocalist, recording artist, live event performer, and Crystal Tones Certified Performance Partner — the only Crystal Tones Performance Partner and Authorized Retailer in North Florida. Her original compositions have been featured in Netflix reality productions and documentary films. She has placed three Top 5 singles on Spotify's international Pulse charts. When you book Music by Tracy, you are booking a credentialed professional recording artist, not a weekend performer who picked up weddings on the side.
Tracy performs solo, solo +DJ, leads a full live 4-piece band, and offers an immersive Crystal Tones alchemy bowl sound bath ceremony that is genuinely unlike anything else available in the Northeast Florida. She brings the full weight of a professional recording and performance career to every event she accepts.
Tracy's voice is a warm, soulful mezzo-soprano with deep R&B and soul inflections and a powerful controlled upper range. Her natural home is soul, R&B, blues-inflected pop, and jazz — the genres that define American popular music at its most emotionally direct. She is equally fluent in contemporary pop, country, classic rock, and the jazz standards that define a perfect cocktail hour atmosphere.
The greatest vocalists — Etta James, Amy Winehouse, Adele — understood that restraint and release are the architecture of emotional impact. Tracy has internalized this completely. Her live performance videos demonstrate exactly what a voice trained in this tradition delivers in a room full of people.
For ceremonies, Tracy brings a completely different skill set — the control, breath support, and emotional presence required to sustain a slow processional with nothing but her voice and the room beneath her. She has performed A Thousand Years, Can't Help Falling in Love, At Last, Make You Feel My Love, Turning Page, Into the Mystic, and dozens of other ceremony standards at live events. She learns custom songs on request. She does not say no to a song that matters to you.
For cocktail hours and receptions, she brings jazz standards, contemporary hits, classic soul, and an ability to read a room that comes from years of performing in front of real audiences in real contexts — not just weddings.
Her repertoire spans: Soul & Motown · R&B & Neo-Soul · Contemporary Pop · Classic Rock · Jazz Standards · Country · Gospel-Influenced Ballads · Bilingual selections available on request.

This is the best of both worlds: live performance presence with seamless DJ continuity.

Tracy fronts a live 4-piece band — guitar, bass, drums, and Tracy on lead vocals — and serves as your event emcee from ceremony through last dance. Custom setlists across any genre. Custom proposals available for multi-hour events, destination bookings, and special requirements.
Tracy is the only Crystal Tones Certified Performance Partner and Authorized Retailer in North Florida. Crystal Tones alchemy bowls are handcrafted in the USA from 99.992% pure quartz crystal fused with rare earth gemstones — platinum, 24-karat gold, rose quartz, amethyst, moldavite, and dozens of others. These are precision-engineered instruments that produce pure tonal frequencies with documented effects on the nervous system: reduced cortisol, increased alpha brainwave activity, measurable reduction in anxiety and stress. This is not the Himalayan metal bowl experience at a yoga studio. This is a professional, certified, high-precision sound healing performance.
When Tracy weaves her live voice into the bowl frequencies, the result is something that neither element produces alone — a layered harmonic experience that participants consistently describe as unlike anything they have encountered. It is available as a standalone event or as an opener for your wedding ceremony.

Summer 2026 dates are available now. Fall 2026 peak season (Oct–Nov) and Spring 2027 (Mar–May) are filling. If your date is in the next 90 days, reach out immediately — Tracy can accommodate short-notice bookings for ceremony packages when the date is open.
