Totolua Bio

Based out of Tacoma, Washington, Totolua (born Joshua Rice) is a rapper with a fiercely independent streak. With a style that pairs terse, simple lyricism with a knack for narrative, Totolua took inspiration from West Coast rap legends like 2pac and Dj Quick and began writing poetry and raps in the late 2000s, gradually building word-of-mouth buzz through self-released mixtapes. Totolua made his debut in 2015 with “Samoanigga Did It”, with new mixtape “Abmitions as a Ryda” due for release on 4/20/2018. Totolua is looking to take his talent nationwide and overseas to continue to spread his talent and build his fan base.

Rather than sign on with a label, the talented MC instead decided to create his own Label (TPG) Tru Playa Gang entertainment, which he has used to produce music videos for other local rap artist (Yung Mr., Che’real, Abom Spitz-Napalm), as well as, releasing of his mixtapes. Keep all eyes open in anticipation of that Samoanigga himself Totolua.
