James Morgan Jazz is a fully self-contained professional ensemble and can provide complete sound reinforcement for weddings, corporate events, fundraisers, wine events, and private parties.
Upon request, we supply a premium 1,000-watt QSC sound system featuring two QSC CP8 powered speakers, a QSC TouchMix-8 digital mixer, Shure SM58 microphones and stands, and professional speaker stands. This compact, high-performance system delivers exceptional clarity and reliable coverage for small to medium-sized indoor and outdoor events while maintaining comfortable volume levels for conversation, dining, and networking.
For larger corporate events, galas, and conferences, we regularly work with professional audiovisual and production companies hired by the host or event planner. We are happy to provide a detailed technical rider outlining our electrical, stage plot, input list, cable connections, monitor, and sound requirements to ensure seamless integration with any venue’s production system, whether the event is held in an intimate setting or a large ballroom.
Typical requirements include:
• A level performance area appropriate for the selected ensemble (duo, trio, or quartet)
• Access to two standard 120V electrical outlets within 25 feet of the performance area
• A covered or shaded area for outdoor events if possible
• Armless chairs for performances (or as needed)
• Adequate lighting for evening events
• Approximately 60–90 minutes for setup and sound check
Recommended performance space:
• Duo: 6' x 8'
• Trio: 8' x 10'
• Quartet: 10' x 12' or larger
