Multi-genre musician with a lot of heart and equipment. I put everything I have into every show, I have vocal processors and loop pedals to create cool loops for my songs. I play a mixture of covers and originals. Covers anything from Bob Marley to Pearl Jam. At my shows: the crowd has loved my songs Attention, Gone and Hello.

Band Bio:
“Tony Mac” grew up listening to several different styles of music, but sang primarily Gospel as a youth. As is common with many musicians his interests were varied, ranging from the 50’s to the 90’s. His initial preferences were “Blind Melon”, “Sister Hazel”, plus “Hootie & the Blowfish”. Today “Tony Mac’s” is also influenced by Ben Harper. His signature sound has been described as a mix of “Sister Hazel” and “Blind Melon”.
In ‘02, he was also a member of the contemporary Christian band called “The Flock”. He played the drums and was a vocalist. “The Flock” played at local churches on youth nights. “The Flock” had an alias band name - “Two Dogs Squared” which played local private parties. The name comes from his father, who was an algebra teacher. He often heard his father say, “You can’t have the square root of two dogs; but you can have two dogs squared”.
In 2004 and 2005, Tony performed as a special musical guest at church for his Pastor friend Josh. Then he joined some friends of his to form a band named “Those Guys” which was a comical band. They shared their music on “Youtube” and “Myspace music”. At the same time Tony was developing his solo career experimenting with rhythmic melodies and catchy percussion that always defined his past.
In March 2012, Tony McMillan isn't signed to a record label but is recording under his childhood nick name – “Tony Mac”. This talented individual is known by his peers as a mentor and a gracious friend. His outgoing personality and helpful nature make him popular both on and off stage. “Tony Mac’s” first single “With Me” was released April 21st, for International Distribution.
In 2013, "Tony Mac" teamed up with Kevin Edwards "The Mississippi Blues Connection", They played many local "low-key" shows on the coast. In January 2014, Tony Mac and Kevin formed "Tony Mac and The Blues Connection" added great talent such as Cole Terrell on Bass and Derek "Smiley" Tucker on Drums.
Kevin Edwards has played guitar since 1994, with a blues/rock style reminiscent of B.B. King, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimi Hendrix. Kevin, with the stage name "The Mississippi Blues Connection", has played many bars around the coast and frequents the Mississippi Songwriters festival every year.
Cole Terrell has played Bass for a short time by has picked it up fast. Many are amazed to hear him play and discovering he's played for a little over a month, not factoring in a short time in his youth. His influences are Sublime, REM and The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Really the list could go on. Cole's love of music and his drive to be great makes him the perfect bassist for the band.
Derek Tucker learned drums and other percussions in the high school marching band from (phone number hidden)0. Growing up with influences such as Pearl Jam, Sublime and The Wallflowers, Derek can rock out the drums to bring out the rock in the bands music!
The band was in the Hard Rock Rising 2014 contest and made it through to the second round. Currently, they are working many different shows in the south. "Tony Mac and The Blues Connection" won best roots song of Mississippi in 2015 with the Mississippi Music Awards.
In 2016, Tony Mac and the Mississippi Blues Connection parted ways to pursue different projects. Tony is currently performing with his bassist Cole. Clint Baker and Adam Thomasson have joined the band to top off a great band.
