Tongue And Groove - Jam Band

You'll recognize our songs, you'll dance to the couple of originals we play - but we are going to jam and reinvent just about every song we do. Don't expect to necessarily hear the original artist's version, but DO expect to be dancing.

Tongue N Groove can be found in San Diego ... if you look hard enough.

In some ways we're a jam band a la Phish, The Grateful Dead, String Cheese Incident or The Allman Brothers. But we're also rooted in funk, jazz and rock - all with a improvisational bent that makes for exciting, fun live shows. Basically, if we don't get you moving, we haven't done our job.

You never know what we're going to play next because we never know what we're going to play next.

Lighting: We can deal with just about any lighting setup.
Staging: Keyboards, guitar, bass and drums. Stage or performance area just needs to be big enough for that. 3 singers/mics.
Sound: We can run our own sound for parties or small clubs. For larger shows, we can bring our own extra soundman but please let us know that's the case when booking.
PA/etc: We can provide our own PA but that does increase our price a little for the hassle and extra setup time. If necessary, we can also provide our own power or generator but please let us know at booking time if that is necessary.
