If I’m hired by anybody for anything you can expect I’m going to give my all no matter what it is. Music just comes second nature to me. You can expect excellent time keeping capabilities, wide dynamic range, and rhythms that make you want to dance. In addition to being talented I am respectful to everyone I meet and an excellent teacher of my instruments

Hello, World. My name is Tommy and music is my life.
I was born in 1998 & I’ve been playing the drum’s for as long as I can remember. My interest for drumming started back when I saw the movie “Drumline” with Nick Cannon back in 2003. He made seem it so cool to be part of a marching band. Specifically the drumline. It became a goal of mine as well. I was able to achieve that goal my sophomore year of high school when I auditioned myself. I made the role of snare drummer and I fell in love with it immediately. It’s all I wanted to do. Always practicing rudiments, Drum Corp Music, Cadences, anything I could get my hands on. Eventually my senior year I became snare captain of my high school drumline. 🔥 I was even granted a scholarship for my audition tape on snare that I sent into Texas tech university. Grades 6-9 I learned so many different percussion instruments. Xylophone, Marimba, vibraphone, chimes, Bongos, Congas, Djembe, Triangle, Timpani, and many more.
The first time I ever started learning the drum set was in 2010. My parents bought me a pearl soundcheck from a church auction. I still play on this kit today it sounds just as good now as it did back then.
Another huge goal of mine was to play the drum set in a band on a big stage! I achieved this as well. Played several shows with a local pop band in Houston. This is where I really got to fall in love with the drums all over again. And now, I plan on developing my skills on the drumset for as long as I possibly can. I’ve played on stage at Trilogy Brew, Warehouse Live, Dan Electros, Active Coffee Shop, The End, High Volume Music Live, just to name a few.
I was that kid constantly being told to stop drumming on the desks. It was so bad the teacher knew exactly who it was everytime all they’d say is “ TOMMY!!” And I would embarrassingly reply “SORRYYY”. I wish those teachers could see me now. Still doing what I love most.
I’m ready for any and all gigs drumset, hand drums, or any of the other instruments mentioned above. I will bring the talent, the passion, and the energy to any gig I am selected for. Thank you for your time and consideration
