December 2, 2018Very nice pleasant man. Knew his songs and even went out to the people while they were dancing. They loved it. Love his guitar. His background was great. We ask people if they wanted him back and all of them yelled "YES". We had snow. I was worried him getting home in the snow but did not bother him a bit. Thank you so much for coming waiting to get you back again.

ROYMAC IS A NATIVE OF MINGO COUNTY, WEST VA., WHERE HE GREW UP IN A LITTLE MINING CAMP. HIS COUNTRY MUSIC CAREER HAS TAKEN OFF WELL. HE HAS GOOD SHOWMANSHIP, VERSATILITY AND HAS A MELODIOUS VOICE DOWN DEEP INSIDE AND HE SINGS WITH IMMENSE FEELINGS. HIS BAND "THE TOMBSTONE DESPERADOES" DOES A FINE JOB. SUNSET CARSON IS HIS HERO AND A VERY CLOSE FRIEND.
ROYMAC HAS BEEN ENTERTAINING SINCE THE AGE OF SEVENTEEN, AFTER HIS RETURN IN THE NAVY. HIS FIRST EXPERIENCE WITH COUNTRY MUSIC WAS IN WEST VIRGINIA. HE LATER MOVED TO CLEVELAND, OHIO AS A TRUCK DRIVER, BUT HE ALWAYS WENT BACK TO COUNTRY MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT WHEN POSSIBLE.
IN 1979 THREE DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS, HE WAS PLAYING A GIG IN WINDHAM,OH FOR THE FIRST TIME. A MAN BROUGHT HIS WIFE TO ENJOY THE BAND. THE MAN STEPPED OFF THE BAR STOOL, NOT KNOWING HE WOULD BE SHOT AND DIE. VERY UPSET AFTER SEEING THE UNNECESSARY ACT OF VIOLENCE, ROYMAC FELT THERE WAS SOMETHING HE COULD DO. HE JOINED THE SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT IN REVANA, OHIO. HE MOVED TO ARIZONA AND JOINED THE SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT IN PERNAL & GILLA COUNTIES. HE LATER MOVED TO TOMBSTONE, AZ., AS A DEPUTY MARSHALL. HE LATER BECAME THE MARSHALL (CHIEF OF POLICE).
