Overview
Batuque Brasil is an experienced Brazilian Batucada Drum Squad. We have appeared in all types of events large and small and have also appeared on 11Alive morning show and CNN en Espanol. Batuque Brasil works with the dancers of DanceBrasil and Andrea Moreira. We also work with Brazilian born vocalist/guitarist, Luciano Costa.
My name is Todd Boyd, director of Batuque Brasil. I am a free-lance drummer/percussionist located in the Atlanta area. In addition to my duties with Batuque Brasil, I perform regularly with Flamenco Guitarist Rouzbeh. I also worked several years with Colombian born guitarist/vocalist Carlos Zagarra.
