Between songs, I connect naturally with the room—sharing lighthearted stories, setting a comfortable mood, and keeping the energy flowing whether the setting calls for intimate listening or lively background vibes.

Tod Pronto is a singer-songwriter born and raised in Newport, Vermont. Funny, insightful, authentic, and energetic, Tod delivers the perfect mix of modern and traditional folk. His influences are beautifully eclectic, drawing from roots legends like Woody Guthrie, the Carter Family, and Hank Williams, alongside the storytelling energy of Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, Steve Earle, John Hiatt , and Billy Joel. Over his career, Tod has shared the stage with the likes of Ellis Paul, Jonathan Edwards, Livingston Taylor, Ben Caplan, and more.

Sound Requirements
Sound System: I am completely self-contained for most indoor and small-to-medium outdoor events. I provide my own professional high-quality PA system, microphones, and cables.

Power: Requires a minimum of one standard 120V electrical outlet (15-amp circuit preferred) within 15–20 feet of the performance space.

House PA (If Provided by Venue): If the venue provides a house PA system and sound engineer, I require:

Inputs: 2 XLR or 1/4" lines (1 Vocal, 1 Acoustic Guitar).

Monitoring: 1 monitor wedge or XLR line out for my own monitor.

Staging & Space Requirements
Performance Area: A flat, stable surface of at least 6' x 6' (minimum footprint required for artist, guitar stand, and compact PA).

Environment: For outdoor performances, the setup area must be fully covered (under a tent, gazebo, or porch) to protect instruments and electronic equipment from direct sunlight, rain, or adverse weather.

Lighting Requirements
Lighting: I do not currently supply performance stage lighting.

Requirement: The venue or client must provide adequate ambient or house lighting for the performance area. For evening outdoor events, basic overhead or stage lighting is required.

Setup & Logistics
Load-In & Soundcheck: Requires access to the performance area at least 60 minutes prior to the contracted performance start time for load-in, setup, and soundcheck.

Teardown: Requires approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the performance for pack-up and load-out.
