A reliable professional who delivers:
✔ Beautiful, magazine-quality images
✔ Smooth, organized workflow
✔ Friendly, adaptable attitude
✔ Clear communication

✔ A partner who makes the planner’s job easier—not harder
If your goal is a photographer who can cover the event professionally, blend in when needed, take charge when required, capture emotion authentically, and deliver results that make the client look good, that’s exactly what I bring to the table.
DEEPER DIVE:
When someone hires TMath Photoz, they’re choosing a photographer who brings energy, professionalism, and a crystal-clear understanding of what an event planner actually needs: consistency, reliability, and high-quality images delivered without drama. Whether it’s a wedding, corporate function, family celebration, senior portraits, or a fast-paced sports event, clients can expect a smooth experience from the first message to the final gallery.
Here’s what stands out when you bring me on board:
A Photographer Who Shows Up Prepared
Event planners don’t have time for guesswork, and neither do I. I arrive early, fully geared, and ready for whatever the day throws at us. Backup cameras, backup lenses, backup lighting—your event is covered. I scout lighting, plan angles, and assess the environment long before guests arrive to ensure nothing is left to chance.
Strong Communication From Start to Finish
Clients and planners appreciate clear communication. I keep you in the loop before, during, and after your event. You’ll always know what’s happening, what’s being captured, and what’s coming next. If your schedule shifts or something needs to be covered on the fly, I adapt quickly.
Professionalism Without the Ego
I blend into the flow of your event, stepping forward when direction is needed and stepping back the second the moment needs space. Friendly, respectful, and organized—that’s how I work with vendors, guests, and staff. Your event should run smoothly, not revolve around the photographer.
Versatility Across Event Types
Different events demand different styles:
Weddings – Emotional storytelling, elegant portraits, and the key moments you never want to forget.
Corporate Events – Clean, polished coverage that reflects your brand’s professionalism and culture.
Sports Photography – Fast action, peak emotion, and images that freeze the exact moment of impact.
Portraits / Seniors / Headshots – Magazine-ready lighting and posing that make people look and feel their best.
Parties & Reunions – Joy, energy, laughter, and the kind of candid moments families cherish for years.
No matter the job, I adjust my approach to the style and atmosphere you want captured.
A Calm, Confident Presence
Events are unpredictable—that’s a given. If something runs behind or the weather changes, I stay calm and keep shooting. Clients appreciate that steadiness. A calm photographer leads to natural, relaxed images and a better overall experience for everyone involved.
High-Quality Images With Fast Turnaround
Your photos don’t sit on a hard drive for months. I deliver clean, high-resolution images through a private online gallery where clients can download, share, and purchase prints. For weddings and major events, I send out a sneak-peek gallery within a short timeframe to keep the excitement high.
A Style That Blends Real Moments With Curated Direction
You’ll get true-to-life colors, crisp detail, and a style that’s modern without being over-processed. I focus on genuine expressions, natural movement, and storytelling that feels authentic. When needed, I give direction that helps people look their absolute best without feeling awkward or staged.
Adaptability to Any Space or Setup
Indoor, outdoor, low light, high contrast, gymnasium, banquet hall, sunset ceremony—it doesn’t matter. I’ve shot in everything from dimly lit rooms to bright football fields. I know how to handle tough lighting, fast action, and large groups without missing a beat.
Professional Editing That Enhances Without Overdoing
Each final image is individually edited, not batch-filtered. Faces look natural, skin tones stay accurate, and details stay sharp. This gives your final gallery a consistent, polished look from start to finish.
Respect for Time, Space, and Schedule
Event planners need vendors who respect the flow of the day. I work efficiently, stay on schedule, and help keep things moving when needed—especially during group photos or tight timelines. Your event matters, and I behave like it.
A Person Who Loves What They Do
Photography isn’t a side gig for me—it’s a calling and a craft I continually invest in. Clients feel that passion in the way I interact, the way I shoot, and the results they receive. I treat every booking like a portfolio opportunity, because I want every image to speak for itself.
About
Meet Tim
CEO/Main Photographer for TMath Photoz
I’m Tim—owner, lead photographer, and the creative eye behind TMath Photoz. With over 30 years in visual storytelling, I bring a legacy of Emmy-winning production experience, artistic composition, and a deep love for capturing real moments.
I’ve worked in live television, motion graphics, AV installation, and more—but photography is where my purpose shines brightest. Whether I’m behind the lens at a wedding, on the field at a game, or shooting natural portraits, my goal is always the same: to create images that make people feel something.
Additional booking notes
TMath Photoz is built to be self-contained and low-impact on event logistics. I bring professional-grade equipment, backups for every critical component, and the lighting tools needed to deliver consistent, high-quality images in nearly any environment. Below is a clear outline of what I require—and what you can expect—so planners know exactly how smoothly things will run.
Equipment I Bring
I arrive fully equipped with the following:
Professional full-frame cameras (Canon bodies) with complete backups
A full run of high-quality lenses, including wide-angle, portrait, telephoto, and macro options
Speedlights (on-camera and off-camera flash)
Strobes and portable lighting units for controlled lighting setups
Light modifiers such as softboxes, beauty dishes, umbrellas, reflectors, and grids
Wireless triggers and lighting controllers for coordination across multiple lights
Extra batteries, memory cards, chargers, and cables—no downtime, no excuses
This setup ensures sharp, clean, well-lit images—even in difficult rooms.
Power & Space Requirements
I am flexible with space, but here’s what helps things run efficiently:
Access to at least one power outlet for charging strobes or running continuous lighting (not always required, but ideal).
[I do have a full portable set for 0 power areas and can shoot all day with batteries]
A small, safe area to place gear bags/cases—typically an unused corner or behind staging.
If shooting portraits or headshots:
A 10×10 ft minimum area works best for a light stand, backdrop, and subject.
For corporate-style headshots, a blank wall or backdrop area is ideal.
Lighting Requirements
No special lighting setup is required from the venue—I bring what I need.
However, it helps to know in advance if:
The event space has very low light
There are restrictions on flash usage
You want a specific lighting style, such as dramatic, soft, or no-flash
If flash is restricted, I adjust camera settings and lenses to achieve clean results without disrupting the event.
Sound Requirements
Photography requires no sound setup from the venue.
However, for events where shots must be discrete (e.g., ceremonies, performances), I can:
Use silent shutter mode
Reduce movement to stay unobtrusive
Coordinate timing with your event staff
Staging & Movement Requirements
To capture the event effectively:
Please ensure photography access to key areas such as entrances, aisles, front rows, and performance/stage perimeters unless otherwise restricted.
For sports or high-motion events, I may need sideline access or a designated shooting zone.
For weddings, I coordinate with planners and officiants to follow venue rules while still capturing the essential angles.
Outdoor / Off-Site Considerations
For outdoor sessions or events:
I bring portable strobes and modifiers built for wind-resistance.
If extreme weather occurs, we may adjust lighting setups or relocate for safety and image quality.
Permits may be required for certain parks or commercial properties (handled on a case-by-case basis).
Setup & Breakdown Time
Portrait/lighting setups: 10–20 minutes
Event-only coverage (minimal lighting): 5 minutes or less
Teardown: 5–10 minutes
I keep all movement efficient and out of the way of your event flow.
Services offered
Setup requirements
No requirements. I can shoot from anywhere. I have telephoto lens & macro (for up super close)
