Overview
I love words. Words have amazing power and can be used as a catalyst for healing. I have been writing and performing poetry for several years. I am the author of the book, The Rebirth: A Woman's Poetry which is a collection of my original poems. My experience stretches beyond performing spoken word to also hosting both live events as well as a radio show. I love facilitating writing workshops in groups as small as 5 and as large as 50. I have already had the opportunity to speak at business mixers, book clubs, women's groups, church programs, theater debuts, as well as more traditional spoken word poetry venues. I look forward to sharing my gift of story telling with new audiences.

What to expect
Spoken Word
I perform spoken word poetry and sets typically range from 10 min to 35 minutes. My poems can follow a theme, if available. I generally speak on themes of healing, inspiration, love, spirituality, womanhood, and life as an artist.
Hosting
I am available to host events from casual to formal, following the format that is provided.
Speaker
I am available to speak to groups and as well as on panels.
Voice Talent
I am also available for voice over and voice acting.

About
TJ Nicole, an Atlanta native, is a prolific author, visual artist, host, performance poet, and speaker. She is passionate about the arts and loves to capture audiences with her gift of story-telling through both painting and poetry. She has featured at a variety of shows including The Jazz Spot at Georgia Public Broadcasting, AREA Dance Alliance at The Southwest Performing Arts Center, The Apex Museum, The Star Theater, 14th St Playhouse, 444 Theater, Mark Squared Studios, 595 North, as well as many spoken word showcases throughout the city.
TJ Nicole is the author of The Rebirth: A Woman’s Poetry (2012), a collection of poems that celebrates the beautiful spirit and sisterhood of all women. TJ Nicole also released the album, Painted Verses (2013), a true testament of the ever-evolving nature of true art. She is currently the project manager and director of House of Rhymez TV, a show that spotlights independent artists across all genres. She is also the creator and facilitator of a poetry writing workshop entitled New Friends and Notebooks which encourages budding as well as seasoned writers to come together for the purpose of making new poems and building their network with like minds. She also currently host an internet radio show: Love, Light & Lyrics which airs weekly on Survival Radio Network. She is known for her authenticity, compassion, and peace-filled demeanor; her words embody TRUTH, LIGHT and LOVE.
