Whether, it's a wedding, milestone birthday or a corporate launch, the music you choose for the occasion can have as big an impact as the food, venue and everything else that you take weeks, or even months, planning. My job is to keep the guests at your event swaying and singing along with me and taking to the dance floor to move to the timeless tunes they cannot resist celebrating. From Lionel Richie to Neil Diamond and Kishore Kumar, my cool retro hits will remain in your guests’ memory long after the night is over.

What You'll Get:
30 minutes to 3 hours of songs from the Golden Age of Music, spanning from the 1970s to 2000 (duration of performance will depend on your needs). The music will sync perfectly with the mood of your event and be balanced with room/outdoor ambience.
Equipment: I will bring my own wireless devices and microphones. For speakers and other major equipment, refer to specifications below.
Performance Breakdown: I perform a mix of retro hits in English, Hindustani and other Indian languages. I typically work the crowd, moving from table to table to interact and get them into sing-alongs and dance.
From Bollywood's Kishore Kumar to Brooklyn King Neil Diamond to Indonesia's Broery Marantika, Barani Krishnan covers it all. Sitting before a gramophone at the age of three to learn his first song, Barani has been a retro pop cover artist for the past three decades, performing in his native Malaysia before coming to the US. He accepts bookings across the Greater New York and Tri-State areas.
I will bring my own wireless devices and microphones. As for speakers and other major equipment, I will work with what is provided by your audio technician/deejay. If you do not yet have someone for your audio needs, I can find you a professional at affordable rates.
