About
Born in Trinidad, grew up in Montreal, QC, and currently residing in Toronto, ON.
I have been performing, teaching, and competing with Steelpan for almost 30 years.
I've learned to appreciate the history and culture of Steelpan, and I'm doing my part to showcase the range of music that can be played on this unique-sounding instrument.
I've done solo, and group performances, as well as joined in Steelband competitions.
My Montreal band won consecutive competitions in Montreal and Toronto between 2007 and 2010.
I also teach Steelpan in TDSB schools.
