Tim Ward Jr.

Tim Ward Jr. is a dynamic songwriter, guitarist and singer from Bucks County, PA, who now resides in the Catskills of New York. After years spent honing his musicianship and stage presence with rock cover bands, Tim broadened his focus and began composing, recording and incorporating his own songs into performances. In (phone number hidden)1, Tim enlisted a team of area musicians and producers to create and independently release his first original EP, "Ways Forward". The journey of promoting this work has led him to share stages with a breadth of like-minded souls, including seasoned greats Loudon Wainwright III and Deana Carter and modern folk troubadours The Arcadian Wild.

Tim's songs encapsulate a range of rock-based influences, from 90s alternative and modern indie to classic rock throwbacks, incorporating a touch of pop sensibility that his producer has dubbed "humanist folk pop." Whether solo, in the company of a 5-piece band, or somewhere in between, Tim's performances move across a spectrum from hushed fingerpicked odes and sweetly strummed ballads to galloping folk tales and raucous rockers. While not shying away from complexity, Tim's music remains accessible to all-ages audiences.

Technical needs vary depending on the setting of the event and the number of pieces.

For a trio setup as an example: we are able to supply our own sound setup and simply require ready access to at least one AC power source. For outdoor events that last past sunset, we do ask that some overhead lighting be available in the staging area.

Risers and overhead light rigging are a plus for larger events but not required.
