Tim Morgan Music

I'm dependable, so you won't have to worry. If you have a piano (recently tuned!) and it's a pretty small indoor area, I'll just arrive 15-30 minutes early and sit down and start playing.
If I'm using my Yamaha keyboard and PA is needed, I'll arrive an hour early to set up and get the right balance for the venue. I'll need one electric plug-in. The system doesn't consume much power at all.

I don't take many breaks. All I need is snacks and I'm good for 3-4 hours. I love to have stuff brought to me; I don't want to be presumptuous about eating your food. Tell me exactly what you expect.

Requests are welcome. If you want to sing along or dance, please do! I love to be engaged with the guests. I have met some incredible people at my events!

Tips by guests are usually not done at a paid event (there have been exceptions; be aware that the agency takes a percentage up front. That's totally up to you)

Payment should be in cash at the arranged end time. Look forward to being with you!

I am punctual, polite, and professional. No silly iPad or cheat sheet, all memorized. If you have a piano, great! If not, it's my trusty Yamaha keyboard (it's excellent). I have a 1000-watt PA if needed.

I started out 15 years ago doing John Denver 24-7. All John Denver, all the time. One evening an alert listener said, "Why don't you do 'Tiny Dancer'?" He was serious. I kind of laughed! (It's not an easy song). It was 5 years before I decided to try some Elton John songs, and now Tiny Dancer, Bennie, Rocket Man, Candle in the Rain, and all, are standards.

Then someone requested Space Oddity. So I expanded my range more. Added Creep by RadioHead. I'm Not in Love by 10cc. Saturday in the Park by Chicago. Maybe I'm Amazed by McCartney.

Favorites: Bennie and the Jets, Rocket Man, Tiny Dancer, Annie's Song, Leavin' on a Jet Plane, Yesterday, Creep, Space Oddity, To Love Somebody, Piano Man. Fun songs! Now (April '23) I've added arrangements of some real oldies: The Sunny Side of the Street, In the Mood, Summertime, A String of Pearls...

My original pieces seem to be pretty popular, too. They often have a jazz or classical feel.

If I'm using my Yamaha keyboard, and/or sound system is needed, I get there about an hour early to set up. I'll need to get the right balance for your venue. It doesn't take up much space, it's more vertically oriented. 1000 watts. One electric plug is needed.
