The Three Rivers Band is a 6-piece rock, rhythm, and soul band playing throughout Ventura and adjacent counties. We are a cover band playing a variety of music from the 1960's through early 2000's. We have arranged sets of funk and soul, mellow rock, classic rock, and country. We are available for private parties and events, or your local venue. The 3RB will show up on time, bring pro-quality sound equipment, play at an appropriate volume, learn a few special requests, and put on a show to remember. All of our members are fine musicians with decades of experience. We are also a genuinely friendly group of people that are easy to work with.

October 15, 2022We hired the great Three Rivers Band for our inaugural Cars and Cowboys event in the Santa Ynez Valley. Our event was a fundraiser for our Meals on Wheels program and we sold out with more than 350 attendees. We were so happy that we had hired Three Rivers Band! They made the event so much fun, were very easy to work with and brought a really professional feel to our non-profit event, not only with their combined talent but because they were completely prepared with all of their equipment to accommodate our large outdoor venue needs. Hire them! You won't be disappointed!

The 3RB is a professional outfit and we work hard to take away all the worry about the music part of your event. We have a professional sound system and lights and will show up with everything needed for your event. You will be given the name and contact information for a band member that will be your point of contact. We will be in contact well-ahead of the show to discus details and logistics. In most cases, a band representative will visit the site in advance to ensure there are no hiccups come party time. We will work with you on scheduling a setup and soundcheck before your guests arrive, although there may be an added charge for set-ups more than 3 hours before showtime.
We maintain enough material for 4 hours of music, so we can cover the longer shows. When booked well in advance, we will also learn up to four of your requests to make sure you are hearing what you want and expect. For performances of 90 minutes or less, we will play straight through without a break. For shows over 90 minutes, we will generally play 50-60 minute sets with 15 min. breaks between. We are flexible though.
A few notes on logistics. We will need to know in advance where power will come from. Ideally we have two circuits to distribute the power draw. If outdoors, a shady spot or covering is expected, especially in the summer months. For shows under 90 minutes we can play in the sun.

Each of our members has decades of live music experience and, together, we offer up to 4 hours of popular country songs.

The Three Rivers Band (3RB) has been playing throughout Ventura County since 2007, beginning as a classic rock band. In 2012, changes to the line-up led to a new focus on popular country music. Since then we have played most of the popular venues in the area, including featured shows at the Ventura and San Diego County Fairs. We are also regulars at area fundraisers and house concerts. We are as much a family as a band and we pack a trunk load of joy when we play. We bet your party will feel that joy as well.
Price ranges for performances range between $700 - $2,000 depending on travel distance, show length and size, and equipment needs.
We have a complete professional sound system and stage lighting to make your event look and sound great.
