Steve (the director) has been directing and performing in themed event groups since 1985, and currently directs The SeaDogs (Pirate and Maritime band), The Grinning Ghosts (Halloween and Haunted Mansion) and Smokey Knott & The Boll Weevils (Old West and Americana).
He has written original songs for several albums and is the entertainment director for The Northern California Pirate Festival as well as helps to produce family friendly events for Terrapin Crossroads in Marin County. Steve and his wife Anna have also run childrens music programs for Sea-faring, Renaissance and Civil War themed songs & music, and Steve used to teach song workshops and improv classes for the original Renaissance Please Faire.
