The Wild Woman is an award winning spoken word artist, author, arts educator, motivational speaker, curator and organizer with over a decade of experience in this field. She also extends her vibrant personality to hosting a wide range of events from curated shows to wedding receptions.
She is the author of This Wild Woman Is Speaking, a collection of poetry for the empowerment of wild woman. She currently serves as the Poetry Coordinator for The Festival Of Literary Diversity (FOLD), a literary festival that centres diverse voices, authors, and artistry, and is the Curator of Flower City Slam as an Curator for This is Brampton!

June 23, 2023My husband had wanted to procure an artist to read from a book of poetry he had created in honour of our 8th anniversary and (my apologies for the cliche) Lamoi did not disappoint. Into our eclectic venue swept a beautiful woman with a smile which lit up the room and with the graceful sway of her body and breathy, lyrical tones, she realized my husband's words of adoration into a dreamscape, mesmerizing every guest particularly myself. There is no one who could have been as articulate and passionate.
With this in consideration, I am loathe to add a negative shadow over my high regard for Lamoi. Unfortunately, being late by well over an hour pushed back our schedule which, sadly, included the loss of our cake cutting ceremony as the finality of our romantic fete and a late departure for guests returning to Peterborough, London and Sarnia.
