I started The Velvet BarFox LLC after attending bar Southern California Bartending School in Orange County, CA. At first I tried applying to restaurants and dive bars. But as a new bartender, no one wanted to hire me. 40 applications later my frustration led to an idea. I decided to hire myself! I knew I had what it takes to be good at this trade.
I wanted to combine my learned skills from 10 years in the nightclub industry and my years in finance & professional settings. So I built my brand and put myself out there. To my surprise, business snowballed faster than I ever could have imagined. I quickly discovered how much of a joy it was to help people celebrate their most important moments. So I dug my heels in and did every party that came my way. From mansions overlooking Beverly hills, to clifftop weddings in San Diego...And now I'm hooked! After years of struggle as a single parent, I wanted to start something my child could be proud of and learn from. I never thought it would go this well. In 1 year I grew from just myself, to me plus 10 other bar staff! I hand pick each team member with care and heavy consideration. I was always creative and I love that now I am able to use my creativity to spread happiness. My team has fun and gets the job done and we are all looking forward to the next event!
