Built from the wreckage of several other bands, The Tooles have created their own fiery brand of Irish pub music. Combining traditional tunes with powerful originals and a few favorite pubsongs, Amy, Peter, and Kurt bring together influences from Dublin to Nashville, with a bit of Midwestern grit thrown in.
The Tooles are a three-piece band based out of Madison, Wisconsin. Amy on fiddle. Peter playing bass and guitar. Kurt thumping on bodhran and guitar, but not at the same time. Everybody sings. Loudly.

November 4, 2022Not only did we get great music, but they were fantastic entertainers engaging the crowd! Our group absolutely loved this band! And I think they liked us too; they barely took any breaks! Everything about this band was better than I even anticipated! We'll definitely be having them back again and again and again!

September 7, 2021Kurt and his band were amazing! They played longer than expected and was one of the main highlights of our family’s 80th birthday party. Everyone, including the birthday girl, are still talking about what an great band the The Tooles were and how they're still singing some the Irish songs two-days later.
