August 6, 2016This is not personal I am just really disappointed at the lack of professionalism. She canceled the appointment that I scheduled with her 4 days in advance. That would have been ok, however she used her "right to refuse" on the same day, 5 hours before the scheduled appointment! She said she was spending time with her family and she didn't think I would be satisfied with her work. I have no idea why she came to that conclusion except that she doesn't have confidence in working with brown skin. Have a plan B if u call this lady.

I am so sorry you felt let down by the "cancellation" of our appointment. I learned a lot from this experience. I unfortunately allowed myself to feel pressured about driving 3hours round trip for a appointment that yes, I was unsure of. Instead of being upfront from the start, I instead tried to lead you to the conclusion on your own to not spend a hourly appointment fee plus a travel fee for something that I was convinced would not meet your expectations.
I have no confidence issues working with brown or darker skin, the problem lies with a combination of darker skin and location. Since the desired placement was over a c-section scar. Stomachs and scar areas often do not stain very well, in addition the contrast of henna stains on darker skin tones means the henna often does not "pop" as it could on lighter skin tones. I was more concerned that you would ultimately be unhappy with spending XXX and not having the stain meet your expectations.
